Visa
Participants requiring a visa to enter in Chile are strongly advised to apply for it well in advance – at least two months before travel. Visa requirements vary depending on nationality. Please contact the Chilean Embassy or Consulate in your country for up‑to‑date information.
Those traveling via another country should be aware that a transit visa may be required for certain nationalities.
More details on visa regulations can be found on the General Chilean Consulate website: https://www.consulado.gob.cl/informacion-sobre-visas-para-ingresar-a-chile
For conferences, as well as for tourism, Chile asks for a Temporary Stay Permit. You will need to demonstrate to have funding for period you intend to stay in the country, a return flight and an hotel reservation.
Invitation Letter
If an invitation letter is required for your visa application, the conference secretariat will provide it upon request (please indicate this on the registration form).
Abuse notice:
Participants requesting an invitation letter may be asked to justify their legitimate interest in attending the conference. In case of suspected misuse, the organizers reserve the right to disregard such requests.
Please note that the invitation letter does not imply any financial commitment or support from the organizers.
