The 12th IALE World Congress will be hosted by IALE Chile and will take place in Valparaíso and Viña del Mar, Chile from 8 to 12 November 2027. The Congress will feature the theme "Landscape Ecology: Science and Sustainability in the 21st Century" and will bring together a large variety of specialists across different disciplines and backgrounds. The Congress will also be an opportunity for PhD students and early career researchers to actively participate in workshops and courses which will be held from 6 to 7 November at the universities' premises.

Supporting Institutions

At local level, the organizers are relying on the support of the Regional Council of Rectors, composed by four main universities of the Region of Valparaiso: Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, Universidad de Valparaíso, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, and Universidad de Playa Ancha.
